Tel Aviv’s Best Cultural Restaurants

For those of you who are feeling on the wild side of things and have a taste for new adventures, this post is for you.

All thanks to The Culture Trip, SDM is covering the best cultural restaurants in Tel Aviv. We are talking the best hummus and shakshuka in town. I’m salivating just thinking about it.

Hatraklin Bistro

It’s true that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover, especially when it comes to Hatraklin Bistro. The exterior of the restaurant appears to be old and unnoticeable, while the interior reflects quite oppositely with its warm and decorative look. For meat lovers, this is the place to unwind with a glass of wine and enjoy your favourite piece (or pieces) of meat.

Abu Hasan

If you are a hummus fanatic (as you should be), Abu Hasan is the number one place to get your fix.

Eden Bistro

Looking for a fresh bite? Eden Bistro is known for serving the best Israeli produce that comes straight from the market.

Popina, or in other words, poppy, is a symbol of connected cultures and also reflects the type of fusion cuisine they serve in this hip modern restaurant.

Café 48

Don’t be mistaken by its misleading name! This restaurant incorporates old recipes that have been revived with an Israeli spin on them. For example, chicken hearts and tongues (mmm appetizing). But the best part of the service, is the delicious pie served at the end of the meal. Talk about a cherry on top.
